You are looking at the clear windows used for the sliderule dial type potentiometer controls used for
Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance and Tuning on some of the most classic 1970s Bang & Olufsen Beomaster design stereos, the Beomaster 3000 and Beomaster 3000-2.

The original lens parts yellow and/or develop “fog” with age (and nicotine) and they rarely look their best anymore. In some cases they have simply fallen off the slider button and gone missing. The parts are long out of production and has been unavailable for ages.

Beocenter Friction Plate

This part is the friction plate for the large hinged metal cover over the tapedeck and the secondary control panel.
Sitting near the right side hinge and working with the damper arm and a large spring, the friction plate provides the dampened opening of the large metal lid.
It is known to break when the friction grease dries and hardens, and the friction therefore becomes to high, or if the metal lid is closed violently.
This part was unavailable for ages.
Available now as an exact reproduction part.
